Hello friends! Wisconsin based singer-songwriter Ruby James is my guest for episode 1589! Ruby's new album, Call It Rock & Roll on Mule Kick Records drops on August 7th and she is celebrating the release with a show at The Five Spot in Nashville on Friday, August 14th. Go to rubyjamesmusic.com for show info, music and more. Ruby and I have a great conversation about making Call It Rock & Roll with producer Kyle Crusham and a host of great Austin musicians like Rosie Flores, Harmoni Kelley, David Jimenez and more, turning a Supersuckers song into a duet with Eddie Spaghetti, adventures on the Little Steven's Garage Cruise, getting over Lyme Disease, and much more. Let's get down!
