Description

On this week's show we are talking Canada's submission for Best International Feature Film for the 2025 Academy Awards; Universal Language.

The second film from Canadian filmmaker Matthew Rankin (The Twentieth Century: 2019) which takes place between Montreal and Winnipeg in a Canada where Persian and French Canadian are the official languages.

We compare this film to Wes Anderson or even Terry Gilliam; aslo does Scott know the difference between reading the word rupy and Riel?

Check it out and let us know what you think.
