These stories have included several large brick-and-mortar retail stores all across the US in multiple sectors. However, this may not paint the whole picture. The negative light the media is painting of the industry sounds like the picture it was painting of the real estate sector in 2010 when it was the most favorable time to invest in real estate in the history of the US.
