You know what this show needed? It wasn't an illegal street race, but they sure added one anyway.
Hey, remember how Clifford the Big Red Dad was King of the Drug Dealers? Well, now there's another one...oh, wait, no, scratch that. By the end of the episode it's all wrapped up. At least he's got a stupid name.
Betty is DONE with the Black Hood's games...except when she isn't, Archie has another patented "good" idea, Jughead goes to ask his Dad for advice about keeping the peace, and Veronica indirectly causes a car crash.
It's great that Skeet Ulrich is back, but Riverdale seems to be setting up the musical episodes early, by getting in a cheeky reference to Les Miserables via poor FP. We are...less than thrilled.
Miranda shares some cursed lore, and reaches new decibels of rage in a cry so loud it caused problems with the noise equalizer. Evelyn has a theory about the Black Hood's continued incompetence, and conjures a conversation that changes the course of the show forever.
Forget Archie and the gang, what matters now is the NEW star of Riverdale: Hildegarde, the tired receptionist.
