It’s in your relationship with yourself.

Not fluffy love.

Not “treat yourself” love.

Not self-soothing disguised as self-care.

 

But unbreakable love.

 

The kind that protects your future self.

Honours your past self.

And steadies your present self.

 

Especially in sobriety, this distinction matters.

 

Because if something feels good in the moment but harms your future self — it isn’t love. It’s relief.
