Welcome to the first edition of Jaz Rai's Under The Influence.
It's a new podcast brought to you by the Sikh Recovery Network, our aim is to shed light on the issues people face when dealing with alcoholism and substance misuse. Joining us will be people who work in and around recovery to share their experiences, as well as people who have gone through recovery themselves who will share their story and perhaps give hope to people out there who may be struggling with similar problems.
We are joined in this, our first podcast, by Mark Aspley who is the lead commissioner for public health with leicester city council.
We're also joined by Jon Roberts BA (Hons) UKRF/BACP member, a recovery practioner and substance use counsellor and the founder of Dear Albert.
