Description

Permanence, longevity, imperishability. These are all words that describe Jazz's ability to exist in what has been a volatile history in music. At one point Jazz was the bastard child, the black sheep, the outcast, a pariah of the arts. It was seen as, 'the sounds created by unsophisticated, untrained musicians.' However Jazz has found a way to withstand the wear and pressure of time and has been able to recreate and evolve into one of the most artistically appreciated disciplines. Today we test and display the Durability of Jazz with this episode of Jazz on the Rocks with a Twist of Soul.
