Description

Dr. Phillip M. Wilder is an associate professor of literacy at Clemson University, where his research explores how youth and educators practice nonviolent communication. With over two decades of experience leading international educational partnerships, Phillip creates educational programs which emphasize conscious communication and cultivate peace and connection within people and communities. He currently leads nonviolent communication initiatives in the Philippines, Tanzania and the United States believing all peace begins within first. When not guiding international Nonviolent Communication trainings or advising Mwangaza Education for Partnership in Tanzania, Phillip can be found backpacking or teaching yoga and meditation.
