In this homily, I reflect on the story of Balaam, where God turns what was meant to be a curse into a blessing. Even when evil, fear, or hardship surround us, God’s promise still stands and His plan continues to unfold. As we approach Christmas, we’re reminded that hope has already entered the world, and that hope still shines—even when life is hard.
