She emphasizes the cultivation of empathy in interfaith encounters and active listening and shares her challenges as a Muslim woman engaging in public scholarship, activism, and conflict resolution. Dr. Syeed is the inaugural El-Hibri endowed chair and executive director of Interfaith at Augsburg in Minneapolis, MN.
