EPISODE #98 - This Marvelous Motivating Monday, we celebrate the GRADUATES from The Class of 2021 and 2020. Hampton University was one school who had a graduating commencement for both Class of 2021 and 2020, and the Keynote Speaker was motivating and inspirational. Hampton University Alumni, Rashida Jones, who is the first African American woman to become President of a Major News Network, which is MSNBC. I felt parts of this speech was empowering to hear. These words are applicable to all races and backgrounds, and extremely powerful for the graduates of color. We also listen to Former First Lady Michelle Obama who gave a virtual Class of 2020 Commencement Speech that was so uplifting, encouraging, and needed right now so I added parts of her speech to this episode. I hope that the inserts from the speeches I chose to use help graduates to push forward with their dreams for a prosperous future.
