According to Lao Tzu
Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes.
Don’t resist them- that only creates sorrow.
Let reality be reality.
Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.
Lao Tzu
Hello- Hello- beautiful souls I am Melinda Heath welcome to “Lifestyle of Daily Joy” episode #14 “Ditch Schedule + Mental Health” I have been having so much fun journeying with you so far, are really glad you are here hanging out with me, and I thank you for taking your precious time to listen.
If you haven’t already, take a moment to grab your favorite nutritional snack and beverage as you get settled in.
Today we are continuing our self-care series and will be talking about giving ourselves permission to ditch our schedule. I would like to clarify the context in which I am speaking about, I am not meaning no longer having a schedule or not living life by a schedule ever again what I am meaning is sometimes there are days, weeks or months even, as in my case that it might be good to toss it out the window for the time being and go with the flow in whichever way the day comes for each of us for the sake of our peace and so, today is about grace, giving ourselves grace by allowing us to have permission to prioritize and only focus for the time being on the things that are truly important that truly matter to us during different seasons or situations we may find ourselves in life.
I would like to share with you that I have been struggling a great deal with different things in my personal life, things feeling heavy for me these last couple of months which is what brought this subject front and center as I was throwing my hands up in the air recently leading me to embrace and say my new motto which is, “do what you can and let that be good enough”.
There are three ways you can connect with me
