We live in a time where a 'promise' doesn't mean much. Contracts have loopholes, politicians change their minds, and even friends sometimes let us down. But when we open the Bible, we see something strange. We see the Creator of the Universe voluntarily binding Himself to humanity through promises—or, as the Bible calls them, Covenants. Why would He do that?
In this week's podcast, we explored the answer. God makes promises for two massive reasons: To reveal His Character and to secure a relationship with you. He makes promises so that when your world shakes, you know that He doesn't. He puts His reputation on the line, so that you can trust Him.
