This is a conversation I’ve wanted to have for some time.
Kyle Kulinski is technically a left-wing political YouTuber and podcaster. In actuality, he is one of the most uncompromising and progressive voices in modern media. His work is admirable both for the courage that comes from his independence as well as the clarity of the purpose his brand of politics brings.
But these are challenging times. The right isn’t merely ascendant abroad, but at home, and the domestic version is growing more authoritarian by the day. The left is, at best, embattled and without a dominant party capable of being adversarial.
So, what, then, is a progressive to do? In this conversation, we discuss the limits of today’s left: who it is, what it stands for and what it can do. Yet, as Kulinski is quick to note, the real focus has to be on understanding what the right wants and what they’ll do to get it.
We discuss that plus the role and future of Joe Rogan, the purpose of Twitter in 2025, media strategies for message amplification, immigration enforcement and so much more.
