Even those closest to God can be deceived and led astray, as seen with Eve in the Garden of Eden. However, we have powerful resources to resist temptation that Eve didn't have - the Word of God and the Spirit of God. Jesus demonstrated this by responding to each temptation with Scripture. When we regularly engage with God's Word, it reveals our heart condition, shows us who God is, and equips us to rebuke the enemy's lies. By asking God to increase our hunger for Scripture and establishing daily reading habits, we can stand firm against deception.
