It’s just like everything else in our lives-if you want it to work, you have to keep up with it.
As much as I would love to hit the cruise control button on life and watch someone else take the wheel, it is just completely unrealistic.
So how do you achieve good mental health?
It’s different for everyone, but here are some things that have worked for me.
Finding some inspiration:
For me this meant finding things that spoke to me which guided me via podcast and social media.
I found people to follow who helped set a path that made sense for Me to follow.
Listening to my body:
For me this meant eating right, finding what was making me feel sluggish and bloated. I began to take out anything that wasn’t making my body feel fueled.
Believe me this sounds way fancier than it is. I am still a huge junk food kid and can eat In-n-Out burger.
Finding time for myself:
This meant physically writing out a schedule to find time for myself in a planner everyday. Making sure to set boundaries with the kids and my hubby. Literally stepping out of the site of my family to allow full attention to myself.
These are 3 main things that made a huge difference in my daily life and my drive to strive for greatness.
