The oil price, dropping in recent weeks, has seen stocks such as Woodside sharply fall in the past month. Oil-producing countries pumping out the commodity are sinking stocks, but that doesn't mean their value is disappearing. We are certainly seeing gold's value rising, with the metal reaching a new all-time high overnight. Just as the Nasdaq Composite index did in the US.
