Description

Portraits of the Pioneers is an in-depth look at those who have been actively involved in the exploration, development, and practice of somatic touch therapy. These two pioneers have both made indelible contributions with Somatic Touch Therapy in the medical world. In this conversation they reveal how their own Stage IV cancer diagnoses have invited them to weave together the wisdom of their work in the journey of this process. Jack talks of slowing down resulting in time expanding. Bill is enjoying the benefits of the ultra open-minded Suisse Medical system as he returns to his roots digging, planting, and being with his lovely wife. Both men are finding lightness and fun, keeping the human connection. To other Somatic Touch Practitioners: Presence is the more powerful part of the work, and it's important to know what the client wants. Remember it's sometimes important to "take the drops", be realistic about what your work can and can't do.
