Portraits of the Pioneers is an in-depth look at those who have been actively involved in the exploration, development, and practice of somatic touch therapy.
Meet Mark Hoch, MD in this episode. Mark found Trager (somatic touch work) while attending medical school. As an already active, embodied person, he found this somatic work gave him a more fully embodied experience. This shaped the trajectory of how he would practice medicine. He has a rich and diverse background that he has combined in a unique and expansive manner that finds the common ground amongst the various systems in which he is trained.
NOTE: Please excuse the couple moments of technological & editorial challenge in this first episode with Mark. They are fleeting and don't detract from the richness of this conversation.
