"The Blessedness of Brokenness" – Job 2:7-8

In this tender and deeply moving sermon from Job 2, Pastor Jeff Cox reflects on one of Scripture’s most difficult themes: the blessing God brings through brokenness. Drawing from Job’s suffering—where even a piece of broken pottery brought a measure of comfort—Pastor Cox reminds us that God often uses what is shattered to accomplish His greatest work.

He points to the broken bread Jesus used to feed the multitudes, showing that God does not discard the fragments of our lives; He multiplies them.

This sermon reminds us that Jesus Himself was broken for us—and that God uses our brokenness to bless others, deepen our dependence on Him, and reveal His sufficiency.
