The third instalment of this four-part special with David MacRae covers Davie's departure from Inverness CT and moving to us on a permanent deal, the night he was part of the first Nairn team to reach a cup final in 20 years with a North of Scotland Cup semi-final win at Wick Academy, going on to win that trophy with victory over Forres Mechanics to lift it for the first time in almost four decades then going down to Morecambe on trial.
