In Genesis 47 Jacob and his descendants arrive in the pagan land of Egypt where they must maintain their identity. While this is not their true home, there is work for them to do and they will grow into a great nation as they wait for God to bring them to the land of promise. This Sunday we will examine the themes of this chapter and discover how they apply to us as we work while waiting for Christ's return.
