If you're wondering if the traditional 7-year itch is real, stop wondering… it is. So as I realized I was marking 7 years sober, I wondered if I would get an itch. I did not.
So that made me wonder… Is the 7-year itch is just a sex thing? Or is it a thing with anything you do for a long time, and it just didn't happen to me. Or, happen yet, as it pertains to my drinking.
In this episode, I'm going to read and improv on a personal post I made for my 7-years of sobriety, and then spend a little time on the traditional 7-year itch. Because what I've learned is that it's not about the booze. And it's not about the sex. It's about manifesting the life you want for yourself and the actions you take to get there.
