Now, think about what Jesus did on the cross.

When He said, “It is finished,” He meant it. The guilt, the shame, the condemnation—it was all removed.

Yet, many of us still carry the burden of past mistakes, acting as though we need to “atone” for our own sins.

But Jesus already did that.

If God has cast our sins as far as the east is from the west, why do we keep bringing them back (Psalm 103:12)?

Here’s the heart of today’s message:
We are not just forgiven—we are free.

When we live in the truth of Christ’s atonement, we stop striving to “earn” forgiveness and start walking in the confidence of His grace.

So today, let’s let go of what Jesus already carried away.
