151: Let's Talk About it... Marriage, part 2

On our last episode, Pastor Jonathan Wallace shared with us, "What your Husband wants You to Know. It was such a good conversation and we were all convicted and encouraged by what he had to say. But, we couldn't just leave it. Once he left the room, we dove back into conversation about what he had shared. Come listen in.

Here are some of our takeaways...

* Plan business meetings and date nights with your husband. These two things should be separate. Be intentional and make your marriage a priority.

* Don't be self-centered. Try to elevate your perspective and see things from a higher vantage point.

* Share why you love your husband. Let him know what you love about him. If your marriage is challenging, ask God to help you muster up the strength to see and share the things you love.

* We can choose behavior that honors the Lord, because we love the Lord. We can choose to be obedient to God's word and choose to show respect.

* Submit yourselves to your husband... so they will be won over without words, by the behavior of their wives. Show the love of Christ without words.

* Encourage your husband and let him know that you see all he does for your family.

We love you and are praying for you and for your marriage. Marriage is hard, yet it can be incredibility beautiful. Invite your spouse into a conversation about making yours more loving, kind, committed. Be better together.
