154: Parenting Young Adult and Adult Children
Many times when we listen to parenting podcasts they focus on small children or teenagers. But today we are diving into the How To's of parenting young adults and adult children. Is it even called parenting?
This is so different than parenting our children when they are little. It is important to recognize that your children are adults who are making adult decisions and experiencing adult circumstances. It is important that we respect them as adults and keep the airways open so that we can have the opportunity to speak into their life.
We pray this episode is a balm to your Mama heart. We are praying for your relationship with your kids. If there is discord in your relationship, let the praying begin. Ask God to open the door for reconciliation and ask Him to reveal what you need to do. Reach out to your children and apologize for the mistakes you have made. Let them know you respect them and want to walk alongside them.
