159: Who is the Holy Spirit?
Who is the Holy Spirit to you? What is His role in your life? God is a triune God and the Holy Spirit is one of His equal parts. He is a gift we receive when we surrender our life to Jesus.
He wants to be your constant companion. He is your guide, your counselor, your teacher, and more. He is your helper. We are all in need of His help. He is waiting for us to invite Him into our everyday moments so we can look more and more like Jesus.
He is why we can do hard things. He is the power that drives us and propels us forward when we are weak. When we don't know how to pray, He intercedes on our behalf. Have you activated His presence and His power in your life?
Jesus said that it was best that He go so that we could receive the Holy Spirit. Wow! If Jesus said it, then it is truth. Have you received the Holy Spirit and are you benefitting from His presence in your life. Are you being open for Him to move, to prompt you, and to transform you? Today is a good day to invite the Holy Spirit into your everyday life.
