Potter Revisited Episode #105 Department of Injustice AKA Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Chapter 7 "The Ministry of Magic"
- Harry entering the room alone and realizing he is in the room where he saw the death eater trials is spooky
- Does the Ministry assume Harry traveled to London from Surrey? Surely he should be pardoned for being late do the the quick location and time change - especially since he is a minor who cannot use the quicker transportation methods
- Harry notices Percy, but Percy ignores him
- What are Fudge and Umbridge's credentials to be interrogators in a criminal hearing? This feels like the Prime Minister asking you questions about a crime they think you committed as a minor
- Fudge has an agenda for this hearing and how he wants it to go
- Dumbledore makes his dramatic entrance into the hearing
- Shay loves this version of Dumbledore - alert the press!
- The way Dumbledore comes in, acts very calm and assertive totally undermines Fudge and his control over the hearing
- Why is it such a big deal that Harry did magic in front of a Muggle when the Muggle is Dudley, who already knows about magic?
- Madame Bones being so in shock and impressed about Harry being able to produce a patronus is so great, we stan
- Fudge making a joke using Bagman's gambling addiction is in such poor taste and completely inappropriate for the situation
- Dumbledore brings up the Charter of Rights - shouldn't Harry been aware of this before the hearing so he wasn't steamrolled by the Minister of Magic who has a vendetta against him?
- Mrs Figg is brought in as a witness, and it shows how much care the Ministry has in Squibs as they have no record of her
- We are introduced to Umbridge and prepare for the awfulness coming our way
- Umbridge is such an different villain compared to Voldemort in the series
- Fudge brining up other past incidents of Harry shows he is grasping at straws, and how corrupt he is when he says "laws can be changed"
- Dumbledore dips as soon as Harry is cleared, and Tori doesn't understand Shay's Amanda Show reference
- Shay discusses Madam Bones and how she would make a great surrogate mom figure for Harry in addition to Molly... and Tori breaks the news that she dies
- Snape Sucks count for Chapter 7: 0
