Listen

Description

Recorded July 9, 2021. Adam and Peter talk about the recent assassination of Haitian president Jovenel Moise, details of which are still emerging. They also mention the building collapse in Florida, the intense heat wave in the U.S. West coast and Pacific Northwest, the California drought, and how it is all related to the climate crisis. At the last half of the episode, Adam brings up an article in the New York Times about a white woman who inherited a farm in Georgia and realized her ancestors owned slaves, the guys critiques it, and argue that she should shut up and give the land back to the descendants of the enslaved Africans her family owned.
