Trauma can encompass a wide range of experiences that are less than nurturing, such as physical or emotional abuse, neglect, accidents, natural disasters, or witnessing violence. It’s important to recognize that each person’s response to trauma is unique, and understanding and compassion are crucial in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma.
