You never know when you'll be asked to save the life of a Romulan. This is a Geordi and Worf showcase episode, and it pulls on so many of our Cold War/Gen X sensibilities that we can barely stand it. Geordi's forced to work together with his captor to escape Galorndon Core, a planet with electrical storms to die for! Worf can save Picard in his brinksmanship with the ever-amazing Andreas Katsulas as Tomalak to avoid interstellar war, but he refuses because Romulans murdered his family.
