Butcher's Stain (2025) is an emotionally charged film about Samir, an Arab butcher, who is falsely accused by his manager of removing hostage posters, forcing him to fight for his job and innocence amidst rising prejudice.
This 26-minute Oscar nominated live-action short was made by the incredibly talented young filmmaker, Meyer Levinson-Blount. We sat down to talk about his film influences, how his experiences shaped this film, the brilliant of lead actor Omar Sameer, and more.
