Henry Every is the most successful pirate you’ve probably never heard of. He is arguably the most successful pirate of the Golden Age of Piracy, and his actions have been highly romanticized throughout fictional history so much so that he was dubbed the ‘King of Pirates’. Unlike others of his time like Blackbeared and Calico Jack, Henry Every’s greatest success was that he was able to slip the authorities and disappear without consequence…or did he?!
