Cynthia Anderson was a 20-year-old legal secretary in Toledo, Ohio, who in 1981 had just resigned from her job and was making plans with her boyfriend. However Cynthia didn't even make it through her final two weeks at her job before suddenly vanishing one day on the job. To make matters even more puzzling , prior to her disappearance, Cynthia had mentioned how she had been having dreams about being abducted and killed.
