From a Ukrainian orphanage to the Miss Mississippi crown, Anna Leah Jolly’s story is one of resilience, redemption, and hope. Adopted at age 11 into a Mississippi family, Anna Leah discovered both her love of dance and her God-given purpose. Today, she is a student in the Dance Department at Belhaven University and the first foreign-born Miss Mississippi, crowned in June 2025.
As Miss Mississippi, Anna Leah is using her platform “Limitless” to serve children in foster care, adoption, and abuse recovery. She created Limitless Power 2 Connect (limitlesspower2connect.com), a movement equipping children and caregivers with emotional wellness tools like the Emotion Wheel. Her mission is to remind every child that they are seen, loved, and capable of living a limitless life.
Anna Leah is also the author of the children’s book Theodore: The Little Bear with Big Feelings, which helps kids understand and express emotions in a healthy way.
In addition to her advocacy work, Anna Leah owns Studio A Dance Company in Flowood, Mississippi, where she inspires the next generation of dancers to chase their dreams with discipline and creativity.
Her testimony reflects the heart of Saved and Strong: that no matter how difficult the beginning of your story may be, God can redeem it for His glory. Anna Leah believes that when faith and perseverance meet purpose, we can rise above every limitation and live truly limitless lives.
