James Meyers, III considers the first commandment as is found in the Reformed faith. Whatever one’s order may be regarding the order of the Decalogue, we would be wise to recognize, in humility and reverence, this blessed Command precedes all the others because all of the others would be utterly bereft of meaning without it.
