When Rabbi Tzarfati's lamp blows out one night, he borrows a coal from the Arab baker across the street, who receives a nice blessing for his trouble. Many years later, Rabbi Tzarfati meets the baker again under extraordinary circumstances and together they save a Jewish community from exile and ruin.
