Wynonie Harris’s Lovin’ Machine finishes off by dispensing a bottle of HADACOL This was a so-called “miracle” tonic, popular in the forties because of it’s high alcohol content in the ”dry” states in America.
It was short lived and had little or no medical benefit, but it’s memory is preserved in at least a dozen or so songs!
