In the summer of 2025 we had several guests join us by Zoom to talk to our ministers about preaching. This podcast is a recording of one of those conversations, which we are releasing as a series. We had a morning cohort and an evening cohort for bi-vocational pastors. Sometimes we will put the two conversations together and often you’ll hear one group refer to the other.
In this episode we have a conversation we had with Dr. Ryan Lintelman, pastor of First Baptist Church in West Columbia, Texas. He also serves as the Associate Professor of Theology at the Heart of Texas Foundation College of Ministry, a unique school that trains inmates for ministry at the Memorial Unit outside of Rosharon, Texas.
Dr. Lintelman holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; a Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; and a Ph. D. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
