Deepwater Horizon

 

On April 20, 2010, 41 miles off the coast of Louisiana, the unthinkable happened when a surge of methane gas known as a “kick” sparked an explosion aboard the Deepwater Horizon rig and caused the largest marine oil spill in history killing 11 men.
