After more than 3 months of rejection and resistance from various tattoo artists, i finally land an appointment for my white ink tattoo. Friends from the past come together to celebrate my birthday by being a witness to the inking of the he'e (octopus) and sharing their personal tattoo stories. Not for the faint hearted or for those that feel like the sound of a tattoo gun is reminiscent of fingernails on a chalkboard.
