Ep. 2 The Basics of a Higher Power

All of us will have to confront our idea of God or a Higher Power at somepoint.  For those of us afflicted we will likely do so with anger, resentment, fear, or disbelief.  The requirements to getting well (as far as we are concerned here at tRoSS) are meditation and open-mindedness.  Openness leads to oneness.

Tao te Ching, by Lao Tzu

First Verse:

The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao.

The name that can be named is not the eternal name.

The Tao is both named and nameless.

As nameless it is the origin of all things;

as named it is the Mother of 10,000 things.

Ever desireless, one can see the mystery;

Ever desiring, one sees only the manifestations.

and the mystery itself is the doorway to all understanding.
