The three ways God answers prayers is, "Yes, no and wait."  When God answers with "Yes" that means its in line with HIs perfect will for your life.  When God answers "No," He's redirecting your path. God is saying stop. He has something better in store for you. When God says "Wait," He is teaching you patience.  He is saying wait on His perfect timing.  

Psalm 27:14, "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord."
