Daily Devotion:

 

God is trying to bless you, but you're holding onto other things so tightly that there's no room to receive.  What areas in your life do you need to clean out?  Let go of it all!! In order to truly receive, you must be ready to release. 

Luke 6:38, "Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."

Each day holds a surprise. But only if we expect it can we see, hear, or feel it when it comes to us. Let's not be afraid to receive each day's surprise, whether it comes to us as sorrow or as joy It will open a new place in our hearts, a place where we can welcome new friends and celebrate more fully our shared humanity.
