Episode 68 – The Invisible Enemy: Sergeant Dave Crete’s Fight for Truth
This week on Strange Darkness Radio, host Bobby Washington is joined by Carolyn Grey, returning to the show for this special interview. Together, they sit down with Sergeant Dave Crete, founder of The Invisible Enemy, for a powerful and eye-opening conversation.
Dave served at the Nevada Test & Training Range (NTTR)—also known as Area 51—one of the most secretive and highly classified U.S. military sites. For decades, service members stationed there were unknowingly exposed to radiation and toxic contaminants. Many now live with devastating health issues, but without official acknowledgment of their service at NTTR, they remain denied proper care, benefits, and recognition.
Dave has refused to stay silent. He has been featured in numerous national interviews, sat down for a special session with Congress, and continues to press lawmakers for long-overdue legislation that would finally bring justice to NTTR veterans and their families. Through his organization, The Invisible Enemy, Dave is building community, amplifying veteran testimonies, and shining a light on the hidden costs of service.
