Our world is full of complex problems, so is our lives. Sometimes there is no clear solution to a complex problem. Other times the solution to the problem is just as complicated as the problem. But there has to be problems that have simple solutions.
Elisha and his fellow prophets had a complex problem - famine. How were they going to find food? Well, a servant of Elisha's found food, but it wasn't any good. In fact, it was described as "death in the pot."
But God through Elisha provided a solution. He cured the death in the pot with just some flour. Complicated problems have simple solutions with the Almighty God.
God provided a simple solution to our complex problem - sin. The solution was Jesus. Jesus made the sacrifice for sin with his perfect life and innocent death. And the Apostle Peter says it simply... "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
There is so much power, even in a little Jesus. But don't let that make you want Jesus little. You have a source of unending love and goodness, fill up!
