In this episode of the Sustainability & You podcast, we speak to Harry Wright, CEO and Founder of Bright Tide, an environmental social enterprise that works with organisations to develop new internal and external strategies to combat climate change and biodiversity loss. He is also the director and co-founder of The Conservation Project International, board member at various ocean organisations, advisor at Back2Business International and an executive Board member of the United Nations Westminster Association.
We explore the theme of the Blue Economy. We talk about the potential of the ocean to generate economic value and to create business risk. We explore our dependency on the ocean, its greater role in climate change and our understanding of its role within our environmental and financial ecosystems. In particular, we explore whether we should apply the same approach that we have for climate change and biodiversity reporting as to ocean health, preservation and restoration.
Sustainability & You is a not for profit platform designed to bring together experts, influencers and decision makers in the field of sustainability and climate change. Our mission is to bring together leading voices to explore solutions and accelerate change. We bring together both senior and younger voices so that all those impacted by climate change are heard.
