The Preeminence of Christ
- Colossians 1:15-17 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
- Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. Evil is the rejection of God’s good.
Why does God allow evil?
- We rejected God and created evil.
- Evil is the rejection of God’s good.
Testing of Your Faith
- James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
