This year’s festive edition kicks off with Tom sharing the genuinely heart-warming story of Aston Villa captain John McGinn carrying Ozzy Osbourne’s grandson Sidney out onto the pitch in Birmingham, before moving straight into Christmas music done properly with Alex Melton’s brilliant festive album Pop Punk Goes Caroling, where pop punk classics like All The Small Things are reborn as Christmas carols. Absolutely beautiful stuff… until Tom single-handedly destroys the Christmas spirit by explaining why giraffes drink urine as part of their flehmen response.
Jamie then breaks down a recent LadBible poll ranking the UK’s favourite parts of a Christmas dinner, which sparks debate, outrage and strong opinions, as expected. The boys also talk through their Christmas plans for the year before catching up on their week. Jamie heads to his daughter’s school church performance which somehow turns into loud “6-7” chants, goes out for a family meal and meets his best mate to exchange gifts, while Tom talks through an early Christmas Day with his partner and brings everyone fully up to speed with his sports teams in what might genuinely be one of the most chaotic weeks in NFL history.
