The unseen work is not impressive
The unseen work is REAL
The unseen work is nothing people rush to see
The unseen work is not talked about
The unseen work is quickly forgotten when the building stands
Once the building stands you never see the unseen work again
*The foundation is what is unseen…
Same as in your life
Big idea: Everyone is building something.
- What matters is what it rests on,
- how deep it goes,
- and whether it survives the test.
Your life: what is it built on
How deep is your life?
Will it survive Gods ultimate test?

**This was taught before the cross. How were people’s sins covered at this time?
Everything God has done - he has first laid a foundation:
The foundation is only as good as the person who builds it
2. The foundation is a person, not a program
I cracked my head open for a foundation… not kidding, and I don’t mean “I cracked my head open as in a lump and some blood… No I MEAN I CRACKED MY HEAD OPEN… AS IN SKULL CRACKED OPEN”
ITS HARD WORK PEOPLE
Foundations are hidden, slow, and costly - and I’m not talking about buildings…. Im talking about YOU!!
GOD WILL DO LONG DEEP WORK IN YOU…. ITS RARELY FAST… in order for you to be all that you can be in him.
Think of this:
Foundations are not noteworthy… no one goes to visit a foundation.
They are not meant to be on display.
They are slow, tedious and detailed.
They are very costly.
And finally after all this… they are hidden. No one sees them.
BUT THE PROCESS ALLOWS YOU TO KNOW THE BUILDER INTIMATELY
